What are 'Channels'?
Channels refer to the different categories of tourist and travel information that your hotel is able to add to your website.
The Visitr content comes in three main categories, each broken down into 'channels':
- Leisure and ShoppingThere are fifteen different Leisure and Shopping channels that can be added to your hotel website, ranging from local attractions to golf courses, and places of worship to tourist information centres.
These channels are designed to be a useful resource for leisure travellers who are staying at your hotel on holiday or a short break and wish to explore the area around your hotel. - Travel and TransportWhether your guests are domestic or inbound travellers, we've included a whole host of travel information to help them get to-and-from your hotel as painlessly as possible.
These channels include information about the nearest airports, taxis and train stations, as well as traffic information on the roads and motorways in your area that may affect their journey. - Essential InformationNo-one goes on holiday thinking that they'll be needing to use the emergency services, yet accidents unfortunately happen all the time. Our 'Essential Information' channels are there for when your guests are in need of urgent assistance, and include local dentists, doctors, hospitals and the emergency services.
