Our History
How we stumbled across our solution to your problem
Our parent company owns several high profile websites, including Britain's premier event listing site BritEvents and Traffic Update, one of the UK leading traffic and travel guides.
Whilst researching which hotel to book for his family, our Managing Director realised that there was one thing that was universally missing from virtually all hotel websites: local information.
It was this revelation that sparked the brainwave to create Visitr.co.uk. After all, no other company is so well equipped to offer this brand new and unique service than the leader in providing local information?
So, we got to work straight away to build a service that allows hotel owners to add a 'virtual concierge' to their website with little or no work involved, and costing a lot less than employing staff to do the manual tasks of adding and maintaining local information.
